  • Halloween countdown: In the days leading up to Halloween we’re going to be (re)introducing some of the ghostly, scary, mysterious and positively shocking animals at the New England Aquarium. Are you ready?
Goosefish: As if the monstrous mouth on this monkfish (also known as a goosefish) wasn’t enough to make your skin crawl, the ethereal egg veil that she lays each year will get you in the mood for Halloween. Play your spookiest music and check out this video of the eggs gliding about the exhibit. Definitely creepy.
