Decorated dartfish

The decorated dartfish, Nemateleotris decora, is similar to fire dartfish except for the striking purple color. However, it is found much deeper, typically below 90 feet so is not seen very often. It’s not the only rare dartfish photographed during this year’s Joint Aquarium Fiji Expedition. See more images from the dive here.
